The Intervention

This painting was a recent commission for an early intervention clinic. The patients in this clinic are children, and the themes of the painting were to be such that the patients would respond to them. The duck is an animal that usually is very comfortable in water, but maybe this duck needs a bit of help. So the bear rows a boat which allows the duck to traverse the water that normally it could navigate on its own.
